About
What’s Dallas Wound Care?
At Dallas Wound Care, our mission is to empower individuals suffering from external wounds by seamlessly connecting them with the best local specialists. We are dedicated to improving your quality of life through personalized, accessible healthcare solutions.
Chronic and diabetic wounds, ulcers, post-surgical wounds and infections — treated by physicians who see them every day, in a clinic or at home.

How it works
Getting seen takes one phone call
You do not need a referral, and you do not need to know which clinic to ask for. That is what your Care Navigator is for.
Step 01
You call
One number. Tell us you have a wound that is not healing the way it should. No referral needed.
Step 02
A Care Navigator takes the details
A few questions — what the wound looks like and how long it has been there, where you are, and how you would rather be treated: at a clinic, at home, or something else.
Step 03
We connect you with the right clinic
Your Navigator takes that information and pairs you with a clinic that fits your location, your wound, and the kind of care you asked for.
Step 04
You get scheduled
Once you are paired, the clinic or your Navigator reaches back out to book the visit — usually within the same week.
How care works here
Three things we do differently
Find the cause first
Every new wound gets a full workup, not just a dressing. Circulation, sensation, pressure, infection and nutrition are assessed before a treatment plan is written.
Bring care to the patient
If getting to a clinic every week is the obstacle, we can pair you with a physician who treats you at home. Say so on the first call and we will set it up.
Keep it under one team
Wound treatment, vascular assessment and infection management stay coordinated, so results and plans do not get lost between offices.

Common questions
Frequently asked
What counts as a wound that is not healing?
A wound that has not meaningfully improved in about four weeks. It also applies at any point if you see spreading redness, odor, increasing pain, fever, or exposed tissue — those do not wait for the four-week mark.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can call us directly. If your physician would like to refer you, they can, but it is not required to be seen.
Can I be treated at home instead of going to a clinic?
Yes. Tell your Care Navigator on the first call and we will pair you with a clinic that offers mobile visits in your area.
How quickly can I be seen?
Most patients are scheduled within the same week. If there are urgent signs — spreading redness, fever, exposed bone, or a sudden change — we work you in the same day.
What will it cost?
Your benefits are verified before treatment begins, so you know what is covered before anything starts. We accept Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Texas Medicaid, and all major commercial plans.
What should I bring to the first visit?
Your current dressings or a photo of the wound, a list of your medications, and your insurance card. If you have had imaging or vascular testing done elsewhere, bring that too.
